Abandoned Derelict Charity shop hardly worth a visit!

This place was once called Davenports Magic Kingdom and went bust! It then reopens as British Magic Museum but has closedown yet again. Sadly nobody wants to come out to the Arse end of nowhere to watch some sum Magic tricks its gone so go elsewhere all I can say is good riddance to bad rubbish!!

Had a very enjoyable few hours with my granddaughter who thoroughly enjoyed the museum and especially the magic show. The magician very kindly spent time talking to her about magic and encouraging her interest and she was delighted with this. She also enjoyed assisting with one of the magic tricks during the performance. All in all a marvellous experience with lots of interesting exhibits.

There are a lot of magic related items to view. Great care has been taken to label everything with interesting stories and facts, without giving away too many magical secrets. Most days there is a magic show, but, unfortunately there wasn't on the day we visited, I would strongly recommend calling ahead to check.

An excellent family attraction. There is a small museum to look around and a couple of magic shows the kids loved. They have a small coffee shop which is reasonably priced and the bathrooms where nice and clean.
