Lovely woods with free reign. Great for biking and dog walking the like. So big you could get lost. Can get muddy this time of year so I advise wellies or waterproofs.

Great car park near lovely woods with lots of places to make dens with the kids (or without them if you are so inclined). We have taken a picnic many times and then built a cool den and eaten our picnic inside. Lots of sticks to play with and quite a mix of terrain. Great for wide games!
Beautiful mixed woodland. Too many dogs off leads for it to be comfortable with children which is a shame. A longer walk away from the top area is more fruitfulness regarding wildlife as dog walkers seem to stay near their cars
